VIPER's Carol Wang has contributed to research accepted for publication in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, as part of Penn Prof. Patrick Walsh's group in Chemistry. Their work has revealed how a type of highly reactive organic molecule (a sulfenate anion) is capable of being used as a catalyst for cross-coupling reactions. See more here.
